Job Description

As a New Business Account Executive, Apps, you’ll drive the acquisition of high-growth, net-new app accounts. You’ll develop relationships with key decision makers, including C-level stakeholders, to drive new adoption of Google’s mobile ad products. Responsibilities include prospecting and growing a pipeline of new app advertisers, securing new Google Ads mobile app clients, building deep industry connections, developing business strategies, and building an understanding of the mobile app ads ecosystem. The role requires experience in full life-cycle sales, hitting revenue targets, and selling to SMB accounts. A strong understanding of the online mobile app advertising industry and excellent communication skills are essential.
Must have:
  • 2+ years full life-cycle sales experience
  • 1 year in app/mobile advertising
  • Experience exceeding revenue targets (SMB)
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Understanding of mobile app ad ecosystem
Good to have:
  • Experience building a book of business

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in full life-cycle sales -- prospecting greenfield accounts through closing, with 1 year being in app or mobile advertising solutions.
  • Experience in hitting or exceeding revenue targets while selling to SMB accounts.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building a book of business, ensuring the management and fulfillment of strategic goals, and in developing associated agreements.
  • Experience in educating new advertisers on the value of mobile ad products and mobile attribution, with emphasis on Google's advertising products.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the online mobile app advertising industry, including technology and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $88,000-$126,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and grow a pipeline of new, greenfield app advertisers, aligned with a strategy for long-term sustained success. 
  • Secure new Google Ads mobile app clients by presenting marketing solutions, and create relevant ad campaigns that maximize their returns.
  • Build deep industry connection with both internal and external partners to identify prospective customers.
  • Develop business strategies that optimize the market potential.
  • Build an understanding of mobile app ads ecosystem including customer business generation models, attribution, and competitive ads landscape.
