The Metaverse Street Journal is a startup that's the official Media Partner of the G20 under India's Presidency for Gaming in collaboration with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Indian Gaming Conclave and Gaming Show for G20 under India's Presidency.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a News Anchor at The Metaverse Street Journal located in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR.

The News Anchor will be responsible for reporting, broadcasting, news writing, presenting, and broadcast journalism for Gaming, Metaverse, NFT, Web3, Blockchain, Crypto, DeFi, and Decentralisation. Daily tasks will include gathering and verifying news stories, writing and editing news scripts, delivering news to the public, and conducting interviews. The News Anchor will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on important news developments and ensuring accuracy and integrity in all news reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in reporting, broadcasting, and news writing
• Experience as a presenter in broadcast journalism
• A deep understanding of journalistic ethics and principles
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team of reporters, producers, and writers
• A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field
• Previous experience in news broadcasting would be beneficial
• Knowledge of current events, politics, and social issues would be desired

Salary: ₹8,086.00 - ₹52,269.26 per month
