Voodoo seeks an ambitious Operations Associate Intern to contribute to the growth of its Wizz app, a social platform for teens. Responsibilities include reputation management, ensuring regulatory compliance and user safety, assisting with customer support processes, contributing to financial reporting, and developing operational dashboards. The ideal candidate is a final-year student from a top business school or engineering program, possesses a growth hacker mentality, and excels in both French and English.

You'll be working on Wizz, a social app specifically designed for teens, boasting over 3 million monthly active users in the US and UK. Wizz is a friend-finding and chat app where young people can safely express themselves and connect with like-minded peers in an authentic, pressure-free environment. Unlike other social media platforms that focus on followers, posts, or passive consumption, Wizz offers young people a space to have meaningful 1:1 conversations with peers.
As a member of a high-performing team of 20, you'll collaborate to further scale and enhance Wizz, fostering a spirit of goodwill and creativity. As Wizz continues its dynamic growth and development, we are seeking an ambitious Operations Associate intern to join.
Role
- eReputation management : Actively engage in initiatives to boost Wizz's online reputation, Monitor and address online feedback to continuously improve user perception)
- Regulation and compliance: Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to guidelines and user safety, Help to maintain a clear understanding of digital and social media regulations to uphold our platform's standards
- Safety and moderation: Liaise with best-in-class partners and tech solutions to ensure optimal safety within the app, Monitor and assess potential risks, working closely with our moderation partners
- Customer support: Assist in developing and refining customer support processes, Implement tools and automate user flows to enhance user experience, Contribute to foster and maintain relationships with customer support partners, ensuring consistent service quality
- Financial reporting and processes : Assist the Operations Manager in crafting comprehensive financial reports, Aid in streamlining and managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analytics and Monitoring: Develop and manage operational dashboards to track performance metrics and key operational indicators.
Profile
- Last year of a Tier 1 business school or engineering (Master Grande École)
- In search of 6 months End-of-study internship
- Collaborative team player with adaptability in a startup environment
- Possesses a growth hacker mentality, with analytical and data-driven structured approach
- Familiarity with the mobile growth ecosystem is a plus
- Excellent writing skills
- Native equivalent in both French and English
