Responsibilities

• Collaborate, and lead when necessary, in a team environment with Process Engineering technicians, technologists, engineers and team members in Hyderabad Engineering Center.
• Learn and work with a number of digital tools such as ProjectWise, SEIGA, SharePoint, AIM, Microstation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
• Design, generate and occasionally draft P&IDs in Microstation and AutoCad
• Convert and translate conceptual level PFDs into P&IDs as projects progress in level of engineering detail
• Interpret project team redlines and communicate needed changes to drafting resources via written, verbal and graphic communication
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Corporate P&ID and CADD standards
• Support in the teaching and development of Corporate P&ID classes and training
• Generate improvement ideas and designs; mentor others as needed
• Support and contribute to Worldwide Engineering and Construction and Process Engineering Department initiatives by mentoring, leading and serving a team advisor
• Must complete all assigned duties in a safe manner
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Significant relevant experience (7+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in field verifying P&IDs
• Ability to develop and use customized settings in Microstation and/or AutoCAD
• Understanding of mechanical, piping and electrical design and basic construction principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Interaction with partners in Hyderabad Engineering Center occurs frequently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, including the ability to coordinate multi-person and location/time-zone teams
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Willingness to travel on occasion (10% or less)
