In order to continue our growth, we are seeking a Paralegal! As a Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in managing cases by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining case files. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Curious what your day would look like as a Paralegal? Check out the details below!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to various legal matters.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as necessary to obtain information and schedule meetings.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings, trials, and depositions by managing exhibits, witnesses, and trial materials.
  • Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to provide informed support to the legal team.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist with billing and timekeeping to ensure accurate records of legal services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflows and processes.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
