Job Description

As a Partner Manager for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) at Google Cloud, you will drive Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Specialist Platform sales. Collaborate with the JAPAC partner team, direct sales teams, and the partner network to develop Google Cloud business via sales and marketing programs. You will be the key contact for SMB partners in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), developing strategies to meet goals, improving operational efficiency, and developing Go-To-Market (GTM) plans. Responsibilities include managing partner performance, supporting the SMB Sales team, collaborating on reporting and metrics, resolving business issues, and developing plans for growing business to SMBs. You will analyze partner business performance, identify methods to increase returns, pitch ideas to partners, and coordinate across Google teams.
Good To Have:
  • Cloud partner ecosystem experience (SIs/SPs, ISVs, Telcos)
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, running experiments
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Must Have:
  • 10+ years in partner sales/operations in IT or cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in partner sales or operations in an IT or cloud business.
  • Experience in technology agreements, partner management, negotiation, design, and execute scalable initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the cloud partner ecosystem, including System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Telcos, and web or other partners.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, running experiments and developing conclusions based on data.
  • Experience achieving goals and familiarity with business reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable plans.
  • Excellent leadership skills to drive partner growth and positively contribute to the team’s culture.

You will work with key SMB-focused partners to develop their Google Cloud business via sales and marketing programs and campaigns. You will be the key point of contact for our SMB partners in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market, developing a deep understanding of partner growth drivers and identifying creative solutions to increase business across several different categories of Google Cloud partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business performance of partners and develop strategies to meet goals.
  • Work closely and support the SMB Sales team in crafting and developing programs.
  • Collaborate with Partner Sales Operations on reporting and metrics for the ANZ market, drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and develop Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with partners.
  • Resolve business and operational issues with our partners in the ANZ market to ensure a healthy, vibrant, and growing ecosystem of partners.
  • Develop plans for select markets for growing business to small and midsize businesses. Identify, test, analyze and execute on new sales.
