The Pharmacist will support the pharmacy workflow and oversee the pharmacy team, including pharmacy technicians. Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring data entry quality, maintaining patient confidentiality, fielding calls, processing prescriptions, and compliance with policies and laws. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and requires an active Idaho Pharmacy License, with licenses in Pennsylvania and Missouri being mandatory. The pharmacist will collaborate with various pharmacy teams. The role allows professionals to re-enter the workforce with flexible hours in a closed-door environment.
Must have:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Active Idaho Pharmacy License in good standing
  • Active Pharmacy License in Pennsylvania and Missouri is mandatory
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software

About the Role:

We’re seeking a licensed, detail-oriented Pharmacist to support the pharmacy workflow and provide oversight of the supporting pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity for professionals re-entering the workforce—whether career pause, parental leave, or other personal commitments—who are looking for flexible work hours in a closed door environment.

Location: On site - 12639 West Explorer Dr Suite 100 Boise, ID 83713

Hours: Part-time, salaried (20 hrs/week), flexible scheduling available within pharmacy hours

We’re open to working with you to identify a schedule that supports your commitments and our core business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager involved in the pharmacy workflow
  • Oversee data entry by pharmacy staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and insure the quality of the pharmacy technicians work
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information and their records, and destruction of relevant documentation which contains patient information
  • Assist the pharmacy manager in overseeing staff in fielding calls from major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies across the country
  • Assist the pharmacy manager staff in receiving, processing and transferring patients’ prescriptions, and own the success of the transfer end-to-end
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws
  • Work collaboratively with the St Louis Pharmacy and Pittsburgh Pharmacy teams, New York management team & Pharmacy Technician staff

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Active IdahoPharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacy License or someone willing to obtain a license in Pennsylvania and Missouri state is mandatory. Any of the following state licenses are a plus:
    • AL, AR, GA, IA, ID, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
