Job Description

The Physical Flows Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the efficient flow of materials and products within the plant, ensuring process optimization and adherence to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and supervising receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities; managing and optimizing inventory; ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures; supervising and training personnel; identifying and proposing improvements; collaborating with other departments; monitoring and analyzing performance indicators; and ensuring proper equipment use and maintenance. This role involves managing documentation and working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management and material flow.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams.

Resumen del Puesto:**

Supervisar y coordinar el flujo eficiente de materiales y productos dentro de la planta, garantizando la optimización de procesos y el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y seguridad.

Responsabilidades:**

* Planificar, organizar y supervisar las actividades de recepción, almacenamiento, picking, embalaje y envío de materiales y productos.
* Gestionar y optimizar el inventario, minimizando pérdidas y garantizando la disponibilidad de materiales para la producción.
* Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de seguridad y las normas de calidad en todas las etapas del flujo físico.
* Supervisar y capacitar al personal a cargo, promoviendo un ambiente de trabajo seguro y productivo.
* Identificar y proponer mejoras en los procesos de flujo físico, con el objetivo de aumentar la eficiencia y reducir los costos.
* Colaborar con otros departamentos, como producción, compras y logística, para asegurar una coordinación efectiva.
* Monitorear y analizar indicadores de rendimiento (KPIs) relacionados con el flujo físico y tomar medidas correctivas cuando sea necesario.
* Asegurar el uso adecuado y mantenimiento de equipos y herramientas de manipulación de materiales.
* Gestionar la documentación relacionada con el flujo físico, incluyendo registros de inventario, órdenes de envío y recepción.

Calificaciones:**

* Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial, Logística o carrera afín.
* Experiencia mínima de 3 años en puestos similares, preferiblemente en la industria automotriz o manufacturera.
* Conocimiento sólido de los principios de gestión de inventario y flujo de materiales (Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, etc.).
* Experiencia en el manejo de sistemas ERP (SAP preferible).
* Habilidad para liderar y motivar equipos de trabajo.
* Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y resolución de problemas.
* Conocimiento de normas de seguridad y calidad.
* Manejo intermedio de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Disponibilidad para trabajar en horarios rotativos y fines de semana si es necesario.
