Pool Inside Service/Support Representative – Apopka, FL

We have an opportunity for a Pool Inside Service/Support Representative to join our Apopka, FL team. You will work remotely and be responsible for researching, troubleshooting, and resolving pool and spa equipment issues using advanced troubleshooting skills and available resources.  The expectation is to empathize and clearly communicate complex technical solutions to dealers, distributors, or pool professionals.  If you have the previous pool experience and technical background to help us improve the dealer experience, please apply today!

You will:

• Provide quality telephone and email support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness
• Maintain current knowledge of all product offerings and technical support procedures in order to provide accurate solutions to customers
• Demonstrate experience in problem resolution and technical problem identification
• Work independently and with team to solve support issues. Escalate issues to fourth level support and supervisor when necessary
• Resolves customer problems, disputes, and complaints in an efficient, professional manner and according to company policy

Key Qualifications:

• 1 – 2 years of experience in technical product support (hands on, phone support, or other experience)
• Previous Pentair or Pool technical experience related to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
• In-depth knowledge of Pentair pool products
• Experience working with SAP and Salesforce, preferred
• In-depth knowledge of working with MS Office products
• Understanding the customer support process using patience, compassion, and empathy
• Strong written and verbal skills are necessary for interacting with customers.  Must be able to speak effectively with pool professionals
• Requires strong attention to detail, outstanding resourcefulness, flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting

Shift/Hours:

• Remote 8-hour shift between 8am and 8pm EST M-F, exact work times will vary 
• Overtime, when necessary

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $24.00 - $26.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
