What We Need

Role Overview: As a Product Manager for the Digital Experience team, you will play a critical role in unlocking the capabilities of our web stack, infrastructure, and digital products / services. Your primary focus will be on ensuring partner success and delivery, working closely with various gaming business units to extend their product experiences from in-game to web-based platforms. This role requires a balance of strong strategy documentation, risk analysis, dependency mapping, user journey analysis, planning, and agile project management skills - but is ultimately rooted in leveraging player empathy and a strong intuition around user experience to craft an impactful product vision and roadmap.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner Success & Delivery:

    • Facilitate partner requirements gathering sessions to understand and define their needs.

    • Lead the development and delivery of web features and services that enhance the overall gaming experience.

    • Act as the primary liaison between gaming business units and the web experience team to manage expectations and deliverables.

    • Utilize strong product intuition and a versatile kit for measurement, testing, and analytics to drive partner success.

  • Documentation & Communication:

    • Develop comprehensive documentation to support project planning, execution, and delivery.

    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    • Facilitate prioritization and requirements gathering workshops to align stakeholders and set clear project goals.

  • Risk Analysis & Dependency Mapping:

    • Conduct thorough risk assessments for all projects and initiatives.

    • Identify and map dependencies across teams and projects to ensure seamless integration and execution.

    • Implement strong measurement and validation processes for acceptance criteria on user stories, epics, and product roadmaps.

  • User Journey Analysis & Planning:

    • Analyze user journeys to identify opportunities for enhancing web-based gaming experiences.

    • Create detailed plans to implement new features and improvements based on user journey analysis.

    • Develop iterative and agile product and features roadmaps, maximizing impact and leveraging sprint-to-sprint discovery and validation.

  • Agile Project Management:

    • Lead agile project management processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

    • Manage Kanban spaces and oversee storypoint allocation to ensure efficient workflow.

    • Deliver MVPs and quick prototypes to validate concepts and iterate rapidly.

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Vision Setting, Product Strategy & Solution Design:

    • Work with partners and stakeholders to set a clear vision for web-based gaming experiences.

    • Design innovative solutions that align with the company's strategic goals and partner requirements.

    • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in addressing ambiguous problems and navigating uncertainty.

  • Experience with different project and product management software.

  • Practical experience with running scrums, managing Kanban spaces, and storypoint allocation.

  • Experience creating iterative and agile product and features roadmaps based on maximizing impact and sprint-to-sprint discovery and validation.

  • Experience facilitating prioritization and requirements gathering workshops.

  • Experience creating strong measurement and validation processes for acceptance criteria on user stories, epics, and product roadmaps.

  • Versatile kit for measurement, testing, and analytics.

  • Strong product intuition.

  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a scrappy, resourceful approach and comfort with uncertainty.

  • Skilled in delivering MVP-type results and creating quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management role, preferably within the gaming or tech industry.

  • Up to date qualification with a Product or Project Management framework; Agile, Scrum etc. 

  • Proven experience with web stack, infrastructure, and services.

  • Passion for games, or experience working in the gaming industry (preferred).

  • Knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks (preferred).
