As Glean's Platform Product Manager, you'll lead the development of APIs and SDKs for developers within customer and partner organizations. Responsibilities include understanding customer knowledge needs, shaping the product roadmap, empowering your team, driving customer-focused decisions, coordinating cross-functionally, building scalable processes, and crafting high-quality documentation. You will also work closely with developers to ensure effective platform integration and seamless data flow within various enterprise applications. This role requires a strong technical background, experience building robust APIs and SDKs, and a passion for exceptional developer experiences.

Role

As Glean’s Platform PM, you will lead the development of Glean's APIs and SDKs for the developer persona within our customers and our partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of developer needs, and a passion for building robust, scalable API and SDK solutions.

What you will do and achieve:

  • Spending a lot of time with our customers to deeply understand their knowledge needs
  • Developing key parts of our product roadmap, marrying customers’ needs with our product vision
  • Empowering your team by giving context, setting direction, and building alignment
  • Driving customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution
  • Coordinating cross-functionally with with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
  • Building processes that will scale as our team and company go through rapid growth

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Platform Product Manager with a track record of building high-craft API products and owning developer experience for your external customers.
  • You have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of developer needs, and a passion for building robust, scalable API and SDK solutions.
  • You have led the design, development, and enhancement of your products’ APIs and SDKs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and easy to use.
  • You have worked closely with developers at your customer and partner organizations to understand their needs and to ensure they can leverage your platform products and primitives effectively.
  • You have overseen the integration of your product into various 3rd party enterprise applications, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
  • You have built high-craft and comprehensive documentation and support resources for developers using your platform products.
  • You know how to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for API success and report on progress to stakeholders.
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results.
  • You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • You have a learning and growth mindset.
  • You are mission-first and understand that your success is measured by your product and team’s success.
  • You are an early adopter in building with or adopting AI for your own product craft and you are excited about helping customers accelerate their own AI adoption journey.

For California based applicants: 

The standard base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $240,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
