As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving LegalZoom's growth by shaping product vision and consumer perception across the product portfolio. You'll optimize product experiences, cultivate long-term customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, launch, and grow our services. You'll establish positioning, packaging, and pricing recommendations, develop go-to-market strategies, and create compelling marketing messages and content. You'll own the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a delightful experience and long-term relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and a proven track record of developing insights-driven marketing plans that produce excellent business results.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of marketing experience with focus on Product Marketing
  • Experience driving nationwide campaigns, communications, and revenue
  • Ability to leverage consumer insights and research to drive marketing strategy
  • Experience developing marketing messages and content for campaigns and product experiences
  • A/B testing experience, aligning on KPIs, tracking results, and recommending actions
  • Experience influencing product strategy, design, and development
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to executives
  • Strong experience writing creative briefs
  • Success working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor's degree required

Overview
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will help drive LegalZoom’s growth by shaping product vision and consumer perception across our product portfolio. You will also contribute to the optimization of product experiences, focusing on cultivating the long-term relationships with our customers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, launch, and grow our services and customer base.
You are creative, strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong communication, content development,  relationship building and project management skills. As a product marketer, you have experience partnering with product managers and large cross-functional teams to bring products/services to life. You have experience thinking and acting independently to develop insights and perspectives and a track record of prioritizing your work to maximize your time and efficiency. You pride yourself in thinking like our consumers and business partners, and you have a history of delivering insights-driven marketing plans that produce excellent business results.
You will
  • Establish positioning, packaging and pricing recommendations for your products
  • Recommend commercialization and campaign opportunities to meet or exceed business goals
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to support product launches and drive conversions and revenue 
  • Drive the development and delivery of marketing messages and content to be included as part of integrated marketing campaigns and within product experiences
  • Own the end-to-end business customer journey, delivering a delightful experience that ensures a long-term relationship with LegalZoom
  • Understand the competitive landscape – be an expert on our competition and how they position themselves with commercialization, claims, messaging, and product journeys
  • Monitor business health, trends, and changing consumer needs to develop actions plans for your business segments
  • Influence product strategy, testing, research and content roadmaps to optimize our position
  • Spearhead market research projects for your portfolio to better understand the market and gather intelligence to help inform pricing, product features and benefits, and messaging
  • Create and optimize claims and messaging that will resonate with prospective customers
  • Work with Marketing, Partnerships, Product Management, UX/Creative, Sales, Customer Care, PR, Engineering, and Legal to ensure a great customer experience
You have
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years specifically in Product Marketing
  • Experience driving nationwide campaigns, communications, go-to-market initiatives, and revenue
  • Ability to apply consumer insights, research and testing to drive world-class marketing strategy
  • Experience in developing marketing messages and content to be included both in marketing campaigns as well as within product experiences 
  • Experience with A/B testing, aligning on KPI’s, tracking and interpreting results, and recommending go-forward next steps
  • Experience influencing product strategy, design and development timelines and processes
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable presenting to executives
  • Strong experience writing creative briefs
  • Success working with cross-functional teams including partnerships, product, business development, creative, sales, legal, finance, operations, customer service and quality assurance teams
  • Experience working in fast paced environments, navigating ambiguity and adjusting to scope and timeline changes quickly
  • Remote Employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or higher degree preferred 
 
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is $101,300 to $131,250. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package. You will also receive a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits as seen below.
