The Role:
We’re looking for a Project Manager, with all the training and certifications, who will maintain complete control of project schedules, budgets, risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of a complex global project that spans software development, content creation, hardware integrations, and wild expectations.

For those of you still reading, you’ll be working with many other friendly, experienced producers, project managers, and coordinators working across several teams, on an experience-driven project that will be realized across many platforms, from fully immersive VR, to AR, and beyond.  You’ll be shepherding a talented team of clever and aspirational people to the Promised Land (with brief sight-seeing trips through the Valley of Chaos, the Cliffs of Insanity, and The Swamp of Despair).  Your teammates have a passion for world-building and want to be inspired by you, and nurtured by you, and have their timecards approved by you.  (Just kidding, you can delegate that paperwork.)

If you’re excited about things that have never been done before, and are an experienced technical/creative project manager with the skills to manage the development and launch of a challenging and groundbreaking experience within its budget and schedule, then we want to work with you.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead the full product life-cycle as scrum master (Scrum of Scrums-style) including high level sprint planning, retrospective, and daily standups
    • Manage resource needs/allocation for a cross functional team including engineers, artists, QA, IT, as well as external resources
    • Breakdown road-map into clearly defined stories and maintain ownership, timely delivery and accountability of their execution
    • Define, track & refine key agile metrics to monitor team & product velocity
    • Manage the overall team efficiency and use your experience to improve production methodologies, organizational processes, as well as identify and monitor relevant vulnerabilities, associated risk
    • Prepare and deliver project reports, customized dashboards, consolidated schedules, and presentations for project status meetings
    • Follow change management process to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes, if applicable
    • Manages day-to-day business interaction with various stakeholders and develops trusting relationships with business partners

Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience as technical or creative project manager, with proven track record of released software products and/or commercially-released games
    • You must be a certified PMP and/or Scrum master for this role.
    • Extensive knowledge and experience driving large projects using Agile methodologies
    • Strong knowledge and experience working in Jira and Confluence
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct a team while promoting a positive morale in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
    • Strong organizational, analytical and project planning skills and ability to find creative solutions to daily challenges
    • Outstanding communication skills and being able to lead by example
    • Able to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
