Job Description
As a QA SDK Engineer at Voodoo, you'll design and implement a quality assurance strategy, identify and solve quality issues, and develop innovative bug-catching methods for SDKs. Responsibilities include reviewing technical documents, creating test plans and cases, implementing QA best practices, managing automated test suites, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing initial support to publishers. You'll work with various teams (product managers, monetization managers, data analysts) and contribute to improving the quality and performance of Voodoo's game SDKs. The role requires a hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week onsite in Paris.

Team
Our Game Tech team is building scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly solutions for our studios. Our SDKs support | a variety of functionalities including Ad Network integration, privacy compliance, in-app purchases, Offers & Store, and more. We also manage a platform for Experimentation and Remote Configuration, alongside Gaming Backend to support multiplayer functionalities.
You will be part of the SDK Team and have the chance to work with a wide variety of experts: product managers, monetization managers, data analysts...and many more!We harness data and creativity through innovation on the Voodoo gaming portfolio. We gain a better understanding of our player base in order to keep on offering the best entertainment value out there! We bring new ideas to life and develop existing concepts to enrich our already diversified gaming portfolio. We make our games even more fun, engaging, long-lasting and entertaining! Pair that with top-of-the-line A/B testing capabilities and you've got yourself a great environment for learning and developing Casual and Hyper Casual games!
The role requires to be onsite (Paris) 2/3 days a week.
Role
- As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Voodoo, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. You will be in charge of implementing new and more innovative ways of catching bugs on our SDKs before they hit our stakeholders (tools implementation, process automation, etc).
Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Apply and implement QA best practices inside the team as well as define and run manual and automated test suites.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Work closely with the internal stakeholders to define and adapt the testing strategy.
- Take ownership of the automation test suite and continuously improve it.
- Provide first-level support to publishers, addressing initial inquiries and troubleshooting basic platform issues.
