QA Supervisor

As a QA Supervisor at Tamatem, you will lead the quality assurance team, ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality through rigorous testing processes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing testing operations, mentoring QA team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues efficiently. You will play a key role in improving our testing methodologies and ensure consistency across products.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of the QA team, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Ensure the timely resolution of bugs and issues, collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, providing updates to management.
• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training for QA team members.
• Coordinate and execute both manual and automated testing strategies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the QA processes.
• Maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities, including test results and defect reports.
• Perform team performance evaluations, providing feedback and actionable recommendations to foster growth and enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in QA roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, preferably in online or mobile gaming.
• Hands-on experience with agile testing practices and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Proficient in automated testing tools and processes, with experience in both mobile and web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Experience with security testing is a plus.
