The Regional Vice President, Payer Sales will be responsible for managing all Health Care sales activity for key accounts to grow Edifecs’ revenues and client base in this territory. Responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new sales leads, presenting and demonstrating the value of products or services, building and maintaining client relationships, understanding customer needs, negotiating contract terms, collaborating with sales teams, managing a portfolio of accounts, tracking and analyzing key metrics, and staying up-to-date with market trends.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • 5+ years of selling technology solutions to US health insurance market.
  • Understanding of client's business issues and aligning Edifecs' solutions.

Regional Vice President – Payer Sales

 

Overview

Edifecs is looking for a candidate to join our team as a Regional Vice President, Healthcare Payer Sales. This is a direct sales position with quota responsibility. The ideal candidate will be an articulate, high-energy, self-motivated sales professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience selling enterprise software solutions to the health insurance industry. If a candidate has experience selling B2B, middleware, data transformation solutions, business intelligence software, or value- based care that’s a plus. The Regional Vice President, Payer Sales will be responsible for managing all Health Care sales activity for key accounts—growing Edifecs’ revenues and client base in this territory.

What you will do:

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads to expand the customer base
  • Present and demonstrate the value of products or services to prospective buyers
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients
  • Understand customer needs and develop tailored proposals and solutions
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales teams to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to those accounts
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends to management and clients
  • Own the sales process, helping the organization understand the customer, and coordinating with other team members to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, product innovations, and competitor actions

 

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience with proven prospecting skills
  • 5+years’ experience selling technology solutions to the US health insurance market,
  • The ability to understand client’s business issues and align the value of Edifecs’ solutions to these issues successfully
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Organized, self-motivated, hard-working problem-solver who can work with minimal direction once objectives are clearly stated
  • Computer skills competency including MS Office suite and SalesForce.com, and strong documentation skills


 

Note: The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000- $175,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. You will also have variable compensation subject to your performance against the compensation plan for your role.
