The Senior Analyst, Publisher Quality Trust and Safety position at Google is a full-time role focused on ensuring the safety and integrity of Google's products. You will work as part of a global team, collaborating with stakeholders to enforce Google Search network compliance with ad policies. Responsibilities include analyzing policy trends, developing enforcement solutions, conducting data analyses, and driving solutions through cross-functional partnerships. You will present a unified enforcement experience to external publishers and support internal sales teams.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in consulting, data analysis, fraud investigation, or Trust and Safety
  • Experience with SQL
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with fraud investigations, fraud risk management, Internet advertising, or e-commerce
  • Experience with coding and scripting (e.g., Python, C++, Java, R, etc.)
  • Experience in project management, strategy, or operations
  • Ability to make decisions, balance competing interests, and negotiate with stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

As a Publisher Quality Analyst, you will work as part of a global team with a dynamic set of responsibilities, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders in multiple locations. You will enforce the Google Search network for compliance with the ad policies across Google’s partner network at site and account levels.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze policy trends and identify new flags to spot abuse.
  • Identify and develop solutions for scalable enforcement on non-compliant publisher inventory. 
  • Conduct data analyses to identify opportunities for new signals, automation, and workflow improvements.
  • Drive solutions through analysis and cross-functional partnership.
  • Present a unified enforcement experience to external publishers and support internal sales teams.
