Adyen is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to help grow its enterprise and SaaS applications portfolio. The engineer will design, build, maintain, and scale enterprise applications, oversee project management tooling, collaborate on strategies for a seamless global tooling ecosystem, enhance the Google Workspace environment, manage identity and access controls, and support core collaboration tools. The role involves developing application integrations, automated workflows, and creating documentation.
Must have:

  • Experience deploying and managing AI Agents.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Javascript).
  • Security first mindset and solutions that safeguard data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Experience with Terraform and Airflow.

Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer

Adyen’s Application Tooling team is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to help us grow our enterprise and SaaS applications portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of configuration and management best practices for the most essential enterprise applications.

What you’ll do

  • Help us design, build, maintain, and scale our enterprise applications as we launch new tools and enhance existing services
  • Oversee our project management tooling initiatives, enabling teams to streamline different processes
  • Collaborate with the team to develop strategies that ensure different tools operate seamlessly as part of one integrated global tooling ecosystem
  • Enhance our Google Workspace environment to promote smooth collaboration and increased productivity
  • Partner with the IAM team to manage identity and access controls and automatic provisioning between tools
  • Engage with different types of stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined and met
  • Support the maintenance and growth of our core collaboration tools to enable effective teamwork across the organization
  • Apply expert knowledge to develop and implement application integrations, automated workflows or scripts
  • Create well written documentation of administrative tasks for use by your colleagues and relevant application stakeholders

Who you are

  • Experienced managing and rolling out various SaaS applications and tooling ecosystems, such as Google Workspace and GAM, Zoom, Mattermost, YouTrack, Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), Linear, Notion, Basecamp, Slack or similar products.
  • Experience deploying and managing AI Agents such as Glean, AgentForce, Google Agentspace.
  • Previous knowledge on deploying and managing workflow orchestration tools.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Javascript.
  • Experience with Terraform and Airflow is considered a plus
  • You have a security first mindset and seek out solutions that safeguard our data without compromising the user experience.
  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team, striving to find the best solutions, creating scalable, secure and long lasting environments
