As a Channel Strategist for League of Legends: Wild Rift, you’ll work across publishing, product, and partnership teams to ensure that, on a day-to-day basis, we are delivering content and experiences on first-party and other mobile channels that reach and attract potential new and lapsed players. You will leverage channel expertise in mobile publishing to develop and implement cross-channel strategies and plans for League of Legends: Wild Rift. Additionally, you will be responsible for elevating our first-party channel standards, optimizing performance, and enhancing overall marketing effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify promotional and innovation opportunities on first party channels that improve player experience and outcomes
Deeply understand our product goals and audience to create audience-led ASO strategy and plans
Work with Product, Growth Marketing, Brand, Creative and Partnership teams to develop global channel marketing plans and execute with excellence on Google Play and Apple app stores.
Develop and own the implementation of app store rating improvement for Google and Apple app stores.
Develop marketing strategy for mobile payment channels and enable partners to deliver regional marketing campaigns in collaboration with regional publishing teams.
Work with insight teams to ensure campaign effectiveness through channel measurement, analytics, data gathering and reporting.
Be an expert on mobile channel strategy and operations, contribute learnings and knowledge to Riot’s mobile publishing capabilities
Required Qualifications:
3+ years experience in marketing or channel strategy positions
Deep familiarity with the global mobile app stores and channel operations
Bachelor's degree
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across disciplines.
Deep knowledge and passion for League of Legends and the Wild Rift player base
Business fluent in Mandarin and English
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in working with agency/ external vendors on creative and marketing content production
Preferably you have video game industry marketing experience
Proven ability to drive strong business results through marketing and/or channel strategy
Familiarity with the latest trend on first party mobile channels, knowledge of industry trends and new innovations.
