Senior Cloud & Digital Consultant - Financial Sector

As a Senior Cloud & Digital Consultant in the Financial Sector at PwC, you are part of a multidisciplinary team with the goal of solving complex client issues within the context of large IT transformations.  

You provide advice to the management of leading financial institutions on strategic and operational technology matters. In addition to advising on an IT issue, you also guide the implementation of the advice.  

Projects range from a few months to two years. Most clients are large banks and insurers. This includes modernizing the IT landscape of banks, digitizing the business models of insurers, and implementing new technology to achieve a better customer experience at lower costs. 

Who are you? 

• You have 2 to 6 years of experience in IT within the Financial Sector. 

• You have a completed master's degree in the field of computer science or another STEM discipline with a demonstrable affinity for technology. 

• You are interested in a career in consulting and want to work on complex issues. 

• You have strong analytical skills and can quickly identify connections. 

• You are entrepreneurial and proactive. 

• You are a team player and have strong communication skills. 

• You don't give up and find solutions for everything. 

• You are fluent in English and Dutch or you have the ambition to communicate in Dutch on B2 level. 

What will your work look like? 

• You are part of the Financial Services Cloud & Digital team and work closely with experienced colleagues on our clients’ challenges. 

• You assist clients in large-scale technological transformations, from strategy to implementation. Within these projects, you are responsible for delivering sub-products on time and with high quality. 

• In addition to the work you do for our clients, you are part of one or more teams within the Cloud & Digital team where you further develop your expertise and knowledge on specific topics. 

• You actively collaborate with leading software vendors and Fintech disruptors to develop appropriate solutions for our clients. 

• You ensure that you stay up to date with the latest technological developments through your own research and networking.
