At CESO, a Senior Designer is responsible for a wide variety of tasks under the direction of leadership. You will have primary responsibilities that include:
- Perform design work on a variety of projects and prepare reports and construction drawings
- Assist on 2D and 3D preparations of drawings, using computer aided design (CAD) or building information modeling (BIM)
- Convert and digitize electronic files into useable CAD files
- Prepare drawings in compliance with company drawing and CAD/BIM standards
- Perform a full set of construction documents
- Collect data and gather information or documents for architectural projects
- Assist with preparation of permit submittal documents and applications
- Support architectural design team in daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects
- Learn state and federal laws & regulations and adapt building codes and standards as required to integrate into projects
- Perform other project duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design; or in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photo Editing Software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- 4-10 years experience of architectural design
