Job Description:

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and collaboration-oriented Associated Director, External Art Producer to help us craft Blizzard’s next great game.

You will bring a consistent track record of handling multifaceted external art teams across different geographies, as well as developing and being responsible for the production schedule to ensure a successful delivery . Are you game? We can't wait to meet you!

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the leads to understand and foster the game vision, performance goals, quality expectations, and backlog.
  • Handle outsourcing budgets and forecast future costs.
  • Build and maintain the production plan and scope in partnership with the team and leads, and... make it happen!
  • Engage with and lead external vendors responsible for converting parts of the art pipeline, ensuring they meet the project's standards and timelines.
  • Ensure that art pipelines are followed and update them when necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Partner with area leads to ensure full understanding of production requirements and constraints.
  • Guide the game team and external vendors to proactively identify and mitigate emerging problems and risks, while promoting team-wide visibility.
  • Encourage and support a positive, feedback-focused culture in your team and help identify and resolve morale or engagement issues.
  • Provide support, input, and feedback towards individuals’ performance and growth.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Have contributed into the development, release, and/or service operations of at least one game or live digital product.
  • Extensive experience in running art-intensive teams and leading all aspects of art vendor management .
  • Champion a team culture of trust and respect where open feedback, accountability, and courage to experiment quickly and learn are the norm.
  • Able to receive feedback openly and adjust leadership style and way of working.
  • Love for games and product development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
