Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior OBIEE/EDW Specialist to support our enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves working with Oracle solutions, ETL processes, OBIEE, and finance reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data models, reporting solutions, and ETL processes that drive data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data warehousing (EDW) solutions using Oracle technologies. Develop, configure, and maintain OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business and finance requirements. Design and implement ETL processes to load, transform, and integrate data from various sources. Data Modeling & Analysis: Design and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analytics within the Oracle EDW. Work with stakeholders to understand financial and business requirements, translating them into actionable data and reporting solutions. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness in financial and operational reports. Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive finance and operational reports and dashboards, catering to the needs of finance and executive teams. Provide insights and analytical support for finance, accounting, and business operations teams to enhance reporting capabilities. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize OBIEE and EDW performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to ETL, reporting and data inconsistencies. Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to define reporting requirements and enhance reporting capabilities. Document technical specifications, data flows, and configuration details for developed solutions.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior OBIEE/EDW Specialist to support our enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves working with Oracle solutions, ETL processes, OBIEE, and finance reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data models, reporting solutions, and ETL processes that drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Design & Development:

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data warehousing (EDW) solutions using Oracle technologies.
Develop, configure, and maintain OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business and finance requirements.
Design and implement ETL processes to load, transform, and integrate data from various sources.

2) Data Modeling & Analysis:

Design and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analytics within the Oracle EDW.
Work with stakeholders to understand financial and business requirements, translating them into actionable data and reporting solutions.

3) Reporting:

Develop and maintain comprehensive finance and operational reports and dashboards, catering to the needs of finance and executive teams.
Provide insights and analytical support for finance, accounting, and business operations teams to enhance reporting capabilities.

4) Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:

Monitor and optimize OBIEE and EDW performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to ETL, reporting and data inconsistencies.

5) Collaboration & Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to define reporting requirements and enhance reporting capabilities.
Document technical specifications, data flows, and configuration details for developed solutions.

Qualifications:
a) Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
b) Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in OBIEE, Oracle EDW, ETL, and data integration solutions.
Strong experience in finance reporting and the ability to translate complex financial requirements into reporting solutions.
Proven experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar ETL tools.

Skills:

Advanced proficiency with OBIEE for reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
Strong skills in Oracle database solutions, including PL/SQL.
Knowledge of data warehousing best practices and data modeling principles.
Experience in financial data analysis and business intelligence.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
Knowledge of Big Data technologies and integration with Oracle EDW.
Prior experience in the finance sector or working with finance data.
