This is an in-office, full-time position at Congo Brands HQ in Louisville, KY.

 

The Role

 Congo Brands is looking for a Senior Operations Account Manager!!

 In this pivotal role, the Senior Operations Account Manager will leverage their 5+ years of experience leading and coaching a team, collaborating with internal teams to execute critical tasks, including item transitions, demand forecast adjustments, and strategic planning for seasonal features, case fill, store in stocks, new inventory and so forth. As needed, the Senior Operations Account Manager will assist in communication with customers ensuring all questions/issues are addressed timely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key problem solver and the go-to person for day-to-day distribution issues related to last-minute orders and issues resulting from production timing.
  • Manage the entire order process ensuring the plan is properly executed, including initial shipments, replenishment orders, modular/display commitments as well as overseeing order processing, order shipping, and delivery cycle.
  • Serve as a reference point for internal cross-functional areas and external customers alike through feedback, documentation & information.
  • Track sales reports, keeping detailed accounts & status reports, and perform data entry.
  • Maintain retail execution data and customer information in assigned resources/tools.
  • Accountable for production, supervision, guidance, and discipline of the department
  • Analyze large data sets to gauge performance, identify opportunities, understand trends, and ultimately deduct actionable insight.
  • Lead the review and resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop processes that improve/increase the effectiveness of productivity and efficiency.
  • Generate internal and external reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings with top customers to discuss open topics.
  • Apply financial acumen and analytical skills to build and execute a successful strategy.
  • Coordinate with customer team members to improve and manage the analytical reporting along with providing support for sales.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of related experience and proven ability to coach and lead a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Proven ability to present summary-level information to key stakeholders.
  • Experience leveraging tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, and TMS platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent employee relations skills
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately execute solutions and implement new processes.
  • Proactive, self-starter, solutions-oriented, embraces change, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Willingness to be available after hours and weekends if necessary.
