As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the player experience. You will apply your expertise in product management and passion for gaming to drive the success of the game across areas such as gameplay, economy, progression, social, monetization, and first-time user experience. Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Define the strategy, roadmap, and plans for your areas of responsibility, aligning with the overall game experience and key metric goals.
  • Work with design to develop features, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Champion approaches that appropriately balance retention, engagement, and monetization to deliver the desired player experience and achieve key performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams–including game designers, engineers, artists, analysts, UX/UI specialists, consumer insights specialists, and game user researchers–to help define, implement, and measure the impact of features and optimizations.
  • Collect and analyze player feedback, data, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements and optimize the player experience.
  • Work closely with the user research team to conduct playtests and usability studies to validate design decisions and gather player insights.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify player preferences, industry trends, and developments in the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for game features.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and player preferences to inform future product improvements and innovations.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • Experience in product management within the gaming industry.
  • Experience with live service games and a solid understanding of free-to-play business models.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player psychology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills that allow you to establish and follow key critical initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with business and creatives, and the ability to reconcile different views and create clear aligned projects and goals.
