What You’ll Do:

Create and execute comprehensive strategies to improve user retention and increase subscription renewals for our Inkitt, Galatea, and GalateaTV products
Develop targeted initiatives to retain paying subscribers, optimizing our subscription renewal process and our subscription models to maximize customer lifetime value
Utilize data-driven insights to understand user behavior, identify churn risks, and implement strategies to boost engagement and reduce attrition
With a deep understanding of our users’ needs, wishes, and problems, you will work closely with our VP of Product to build a long term roadmap and champion our customers’ needs at all times
Oversee every step of the product lifecycle, including ideation, strategic planning, tactical initiatives, vision, strategy, roadmap, development, and distribution
Define metrics and make product and strategic decisions based on A/B testing, experimentation, and user research
Analyze & report product data from users, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products
Collaborate with key stakeholders across product, engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and more

What You'll Bring:

5+ years in product management roles, with a proven track record of managing complex product lifecycles from ideation to launch, with experience in an early-stage startup environment
Experience in customer engagement and community building
Proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of KPIs related to retention, renewals, and user engagement
Experience in managing the product lifecycle for mobile and web applications within the B2C space
Startup Hungry: You are proactive; able to thrive in a fast-paced evolving work environment
Think out of the box: You have experience with identifying various business problems or product flaws by coming up with creative solutions.
Passion for creating and designing useful innovative products
Empathy: Deeply understand our readers, writers, engineers, designers, business stakeholders
Location: Onsite in San Francisco, CA

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000—$360,000 USD. Compensation will be determined by skill level, proficiencies, and experience.
