As a Senior Salesforce Developer I at Anthology, you will be responsible for development and unit testing of Service and Sales Cloud environments, integrating with applications like Kantata, AvaTax, and Concur. Responsibilities include developing using APEX, Visualforce, LWC, and SOQL on CPQ; maintaining user stories and bug tickets; participating in projects; customizing and developing applications; and supporting peers in solution design. The ideal candidate possesses 5-7 years of IT experience with 4 years directly on Salesforce, certifications (Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Administrator), experience with Lightning components (Aura/LWC), and proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.

Our Enterprise Applications Development team is focused on the development and support of all corporate business applications. As a member of the Salesforce Development team within Enterprise Applications Development, the Senior Applications Developer will be responsible for development and unit testing activities associated with Service (primary), Sales Cloud (secondary) for all lines of business.   

 

The Senior Applications Developer will play an integral role in the success of the group by ensuring consistency and repeatability in how the applications are delivered and managed across the enterprise.    

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Development and unit testing for the Service, Sales Cloud environment and interfaces with other applications like Kantata, AvaTax, Concur, Azure integrations, etc.
  • Maintaining user story and bug tickets, code review
  • Participating in and completing projects related to Service, Sales Cloud
  • Customizing and developing applications
  • Supporting peers for solution designing with optimization strategies

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT and 4 years of experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visualforce, LWC and SOQL on CPQ, Sales Cloud
  • Certifications: Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience working with Lightening components: AURA/ LWC
  • Experience around Lightning data service, Lightning Messaging Service
  • Demonstrated experience with UI Customization, REST and SOAP API
  • Salesforce Developer Certification
  • Experience working with custom objects, approval processes, process builders, flows on the Lightning experience
  • Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to prioritize and execute tasks with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong team and customer service orientation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of experience developing directly on Service, Sales Cloud
  • Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant experience
  • Experience in JIRA/Azure (DevOps) for user story and bug tracking
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • GitHub and Continuous Integration using Gearset
  • Experience with Force.com, including Visual Studio Code or similar
  • Experience at technology company and/or in education industry
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform or .NET or C# development
