As Senior Software Engineer on our Sportsbook team, you'll develop high-performance software using C# .Net Core and cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, and MongoDB in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and architects. You'll play a critical role in building scalable, reliable systems that handle millions of bets weekly, all while maintaining a focus on delivering an exceptional experience for passionate sports enthusiasts. You'll have the opportunity to own specific services within the Sportsbook system, see your work quickly go live, and grow your career through technical specialization and leadership.
Develop systems and APIs that process two million bets daily, focusing on a large and passionate customer base of sports enthusiasts.
Build scalable, highly reliable, and fault-tolerant solutions, continuously improving systems and swiftly responding to adverse behaviour.
Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Sportsbook system as part of a team that owns and develops specific services.
Quickly roll out products and contribute to live production, with the opportunity to see your work directly impact customers.
At least 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming, preferably using C# or Java. Experience with Kafka is a plus.
Proficiency in writing and maintaining comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Familiarity with writing distributed systems within a Cloud Computing environment, such as GCP.
Ability to mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
