- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test critical software for TrueTime service.
- Develop new services and APIs for distributed systems primitives.
- Work with team members to debug/diagnose issues, load test new changes, or assist users in production when Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) needs assistance.
- Self-direct individual contributions and help set technical direction for a small number of adjacent engineers. Scope problems, recommend solutions that consider both short and long-term needs, and implement the solution or delegate the implementation to colleagues.
- Bring new features/components into production. Bring production excellence and quality is prized over rushing things.
