Job Description
As a Senior Strategic Security Consultant (Government) at Mandiant, you'll work with the EMEA team to guide Government partners in building and designing cybersecurity capability frameworks and roadmaps. Key responsibilities include building client relationships, implementing the National Cybersecurity Capability Framework (NCCF), conducting threat-led exercises, assessing security operations, advising on incident preparedness, developing response plans and playbooks, delivering threat briefings, and mentoring technical teams. The role involves working with Government clients and multinational entities in continental Europe, requiring up to 30% travel.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience in cybersecurity solutions and programs
- 6+ years experience delivering cyber outcomes and identifying risks
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Client relationship building and management
- NCCF implementation and roadmap development
Good to have:
- Cloud platform certifications
- Experience with cloud governance
- Experience in government, military, or intelligence
- Excellent time and project management skills

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
- 6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications related to specific cloud platforms.
- Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients’ cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
- Experience working in government departments, military, or intelligence services.
- Experience with cloud governance, with the ability to convey governance principles to cloud computing in terms of policies.
- Excellent time and project management skills.

You will work with the experienced Mandiant EMEA team to help chart a course for our Government partners, helping advise, build, and design the capability frameworks and roadmaps for their continuous improvement. In this role, you will become a key driver for our continental European strategy and implementation

Responsibilities
- Become a trusted partner to our Government clients, building and maintaining relationships, and understanding and respecting sensitivities.
- Help drive and deliver Mandiant's National Cybersecurity Capability Framework (NCCF) in support of national-level transformation programs and roadmaps of improvement. Develop and deliver threat-led tabletop exercises and other deliverables.
- Assess security operations and incident response team capabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement. Advise Government clients and large-scale multinational entities on how to prepare for incidents, testing, and capability development.
- Develop bespoke documentation such as response plans, playbooks and roadmaps. Participate in client workshops and develop reports.
- Deliver threat briefings and mentoring to executive and technical teams.
