Job Description

As a Senior System Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's operations, specifically within the Operations Support System (OSS). The role involves resolving operational issues, analyzing their root causes, and implementing solutions. You will also be tasked with monitoring system operations, troubleshooting problems, and managing job calendars to ensure timely completion of tasks. Furthermore, you will contribute to business meetings, develop support plans, and address customer issues promptly and accurately. The role requires expertise in areas such as IOT creation, Dataclearing support, UAT Testing, system monitoring, handling of RAPIN, CDR correction/Recycling and DCH configuration. Moreover, the role will also involve handling of BID, CDR handling, OIR handling, agreement setup, NRTRDE management, and new customer implementation.
Must Have:
  • Resolve operational problems within defined schedules.
  • Analyze root causes of operational malfunctions and provide resolutions.
  • Develop preventive measures and document issue resolution procedures.
  • Monitor system operations and troubleshoot problems.
  • Manage application tool and monitor repair activities.
  • Implement IOT and monitor end dates.
  • Handle mediation rejections for TAPOUT creation.
  • Handle halted NRT files.

Role Purpose & Context

Senior System Analyst  is operations support system (OSS) specialist often work under Operations Manager and perform any duties that are needed for smooth business operations. Some of these tasks may involve delegating or communicating information to other parties.Senior system Analyst often acts as trainer for new starters and ensure that that take ownerships of role that they are currently in. Any operational problem that may arise must be informed to inline manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve operational problems within the defined schedules and service level agreements.
  • Analyse root causes of operational malfunctions and provide resolutions.
  • Handle escalated issues and follow-up on outstanding issues promptly.
  • Develop preventive measures and document issue resolution procedures.
  • Manage job calendars and flows to ensure timely completion.
  • Recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor system operations and troubleshoot problems.
  • Manage application tool and monitor repair activities.
  • Maintain daily logs of operational issues and maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status.
  • Develop support plan to prioritize and resolve multiple issues.
  • Address customer issues promptly and accurately.
  • Quality control on created and loaded IOTs

-          Industry Configuration

  • BID Management including emergency BID announcement as per TD38
  • CDR handling to modify or filter as per requirement
  • Agreement setup as per CLL (Voice/SMS, data, CAMEL)
  • OIR handling and loading into the DCH on migration date
  • Agreement management for NRTRDE partners of our customers
  • Halted NRT files
  • New Customer implementation
  • NRTRDE Monitoring
  • NRTRDE ACR check
  • Wholesale rerating set up.
  • New account creation/access rights/password reset.
  • MVNO configuration.
  • User application access review
  • Process documentation.
