Project description
Leading bank is seeking support for testing across their asset management/ custody platforms like Charles river and Geneva for Back office, settlements. Bank has portal/exchange for their securities business (equities, capital side) to interface with local and mobile. Bank requires testers to test, design execute new products functionally which will be interacting with the exchange and making sure orders are executed without problems.
Responsibilities
Functional tester having experience in asset management domain, custodian management, fund management and order management.
Will need to design framework to test, design and execute for the products.
Ensure new testing approach is defined for new products as these will require new functionalities.
Bank has a separate SIT and UAT environment and they require testers to certify the testing is complete for the bank to release into production.
Capability to work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) who write test cases and test solutions.
Good communication skills for coordinating with local vendors providing portal and mobile software and handling deployment
Skills
Must have
5 to 6 years of experience (Senior Consultant level)
Experience in asset management, custodian management, and order management systems.
Familiarity with platforms like Charles River and Geneva for back-office and settlement processes
Experience in working with retail-focused securities, equities, mutual funds, and capital management business.
Proficiency in testing for SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) environments.
Ability to create, design, and execute test cases for new functionalities in the securities business and asset management systems.
Understanding of testing processes and release management (though the role does not require defining the release management process).
Nice to have
Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools, primarily Selenium (for web portal testing), with openness to explore other automation tools.
