Responsibilities
- Create and extend interaction patterns, reconcile design divergences, and craft design frameworks that support user experiences. Define the style and provide direction for the visual artifacts.
- Partner with product areas to advocate for the team, promote standards, and integrate changes into guidelines. Collaborate across functional teams.
- Identify emerging needs, develop interaction design best practices, and contribute to interaction pattern documentation.
- Lead or contribute to key projects, ensuring a holistic systems-thinking approach and advocating for user needs across platforms and applications.
- Partner strategically with engineering, product, and Search Foundations to define the future of design systems at Search and Google.
