Job Description

The Tesla Service Apprentice Program is a 6-month internship (March 2025 - August 2025) offering hands-on experience in servicing electric vehicles. Apprentices will perform entry-level inspection, repair, and service tasks, utilizing various hand and power tools. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, adjustments, certifications, pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of new cars, maintaining inventory and records, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. The program also includes learning about electric vehicles and Tesla's innovative technologies, supporting parts & front-of-house operations as needed. Successful candidates will be team players with excellent communication skills, a 'safety first' attitude, and basic computer skills. Prior knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods is preferred. This is an opportunity to contribute to Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy.

In the Service Apprenticeship Program, you will be servicing customer vehicles and completing hands on tasks at the service center. In addition to being a team player, excellent oral and written communication is desired as you will be in a customer facing role. As an Apprentice, you will also learn about electric vehicles and Tesla’s innovative technologies, in accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Apprenticeship period:

· March 2025 – August 2025 (6 months)

What You’ll Do

Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Perform equipment inspections, adjustments and certifications
Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars
Maintain inventory, records of time, shop supplies and parts
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
Support Parts & Front of House operations as needed or on a rotational basis

What You’ll Bring

This program is open for current students and fresh graduates undertaking automotive courses
Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
Valid driver’s license required
Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitude
Familiar understanding of the English language
Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
