Location: Franklin, TN—on-site, relocation assistance available, flexible schedules available

Salary: $85,000-$125,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits

*Range depends on skill level and overall experience.

What You’d Do in This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer 3 to deliver world class code, helping our team further pursue our mission of creating digital products, providing hope to others in every walk of life. You will be responsible for tackling complex technical challenges, and mentoring fellow engineers, all while developing deep business and domain knowledge across our products. This person needs to be a natural born leader. Someone who is a tone setter and can provide proactive business solutions through the use of technology and a positive mindset around tackling the business challenges at hand.

You’re Probably a Match If:

• You have 4+ years of software engineering experience
• You have strong frontend experience, preferable React, Vue, or similar
• You have exposure to working in service-based backend as well (this role will be 70% frontend, 30% backend)
• You have desire to work in the code daily
• You have previous experience leading processes and mentoring other engineers
• You have excellent problem-solving skills, love teamwork, and have a positive approach toward overcoming business challenges
• You have a willingness to develop business acumen and domain knowledge in our products
• You are someone with a high sense of agency, someone who can think through problems and solve them from multiple angles (i.e business, technology, stakeholders, etc.)
• You have worked in an enterprise team environment

What Winning Looks Like:

• Take on technical challenges outside of current realm of expertise to level up in craft
• Develop business acumen and domain knowledge within all Real Estate products
• Identify customer problems by participating in user interviews
• Apply business and domain knowledge when designing technical solutions to business problems
• Embody the “Heart of a Teacher” when working with other engineers, helping the team overall level up on their craft
• Serving on a team dedicated to leveling up Craft within the engineering chapter, giving technical workshops and facilitating courses
• Consistently delivering on high quality, reliable software solutions in a timely manner
• Focus on integration testing, documentation, and shareability
