Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

SWE-3 Qualifications: Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Description

The Software Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, assist customers and develop any required software for new functionality and services. In addition, the Software Engineer shall provide customer support to customers across several channels and via help desk tickets.

Position Required Skills

Experience using the Linux CLI
Experience with Bash/Python scripting
Experience with creating Helm Charts for Kubernetes
Experience with developing services on Kubernetes
Experience creating containerized applications/services using Docker/containers
Experience migrating applications into containerized environments
Experience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting support

Position Desired Skills

Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
Experience with creating and managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
Experience updating containerized applications to address STE/STN requirements
Experience developing with REST APIs
Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite including Confluence and Jira
Willingness to demonstrate functionality to the user community as needed
