Software Engineer - C++/Python

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience or a PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or another engineering discipline with strong software development skills to join our dynamic development team. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a diverse and talented team to design, develop, and implement software applications using object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Python.
• Utilize your analytical skills to solve complex problems and optimize software performance and design.
• Leverage generative AI tools and techniques to accelerate development processes, enhance code quality, and drive innovation.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to maintaining high coding standards and best practices.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Document software functionality and updates thoroughly, ensuring clear communication across the team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, or a PhD in Physics, Mathematics, or another engineering discipline with demonstrated software engineering skills.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and experience with one or more OOP languages such as C++ or Python.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and experience in tackling complex challenges in software development.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and collaborative team environments.
• Experience in using generative AI tools or machine learning frameworks to enhance development processes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
