About The Role
- This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.
- The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.
- Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
- Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Resolve technical issues as necessary.
- Keep abreast of new technological developments.
- Complete bug fixes.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Must Have-
- React JS
- Node JS
- JavaScript
- CI/CD with GitHub actions and workflows
- OIDC - OAuth 2.0
- Access Management Software like Auth0 and Keycloak
- Api Gateways like Kong
- Proficiency in React.js is a must, great to have working knowledge in frameworks and libraries like Next.js, Redux, Formik, Jest etc
- Proficiency in Node.js is a great to have skill set for this role
- Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Javascript, PHP, Java
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD with Github actions and workflows
- Knowledge of AWS ECS Fargate clusters, S3 and other cloud concepts is good to have.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols like OIDC - OAuth 2.0
- Experience with authentication and access management software like Auth0 and Keycloak
- Experience with api gateways like Kong
- Proficiency in writing code with best security practices to address at least the OWASP top 10
- Knowledge of test-driven development.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
