Job Description

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III, Full Stack, to work on Google Cloud projects. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code (Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS), participating in design reviews, contributing to documentation, debugging issues, and managing project deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of full-stack development experience, proficiency in data structures and algorithms, and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent). Experience with accessible technologies is preferred. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions critical to Google's needs.

Must have:

Full-stack development (2+ years)
Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript
Data structures and algorithms
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience with accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Candidates will typically have 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Typically 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Typically 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, and/or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
