Software Engineering Managers are clearly characterized by progressive technical experience and demonstrated progression in management responsibility. Responsibilities: Be both highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager Communicate across functions and drive engineering initiatives Participate in technical design Be a subject matter expert in the infrastructure domain Define and influence product strategy Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management 5+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building holistic web based software solution, API design, and interactions between servers and clients 5+ years experience coding in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Python and/or PHP BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4+ years work experience)

Must have:

5+ years of software engineering work experience
5+ years experience coding
Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams
Be both highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager
Communicate across functions and drive engineering initiatives

Software Engineering Manager, Product Infrastructure Responsibilities

Be both highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
