- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus three years relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus five years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. without experience are acceptable. In all cases, the position also requires knowledge of embedded firmware system testing, the ability to perform test infrastructure development using Python for ARM MCU based platforms, and the ability to perform requirements analysis and test automation. Remote work arrangements are acceptable.
- Develop test plans and execute tests during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of products to ensure functionality and performance as per the system requirements. Develop automated test framework and regression test suites to optimize testing efficiency. Automate build and test pipelines using an automation server. Identify, report and handle defects in a defect tracking system. Plan the test infrastructure; work profile; and review and approve related deliveries to ensure accurate coverage, implementation, and documentation. Work closely with multi-functional team leads to understand requirements and use-cases. Present results to product owners, internal customers and software developers to assist in resolving defects. Apply methodologies to define and implement critical metrics and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
