Location: Pune and Bangalore
Who are we looking for?
A mid-senior level technical support engineer with hands on experience of Unix, Scripting, Application and support to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain focusing on SRE/DevOps roadmap. The individual should be passionate about technology and must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and/or as part of larger team.
Technical Skills
Experience in a technical Troubleshooting role
Strong knowledge of Unix (Linux)
Preferably good in Shell or Python Scripting
Experience in Devops tools like Jenkins, Jules, AppDynamics
Proficiency in doing deployments and configuring Jenkins jobs
Familiarity with load balancers and cloud technologies i.e. AWS
Good knowledge of Control M, AutoSys or any scheduling mechanism
Exposure to Atlassian technologies like JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge of Investment Banking (preferable)
Preferably, good exposure to Core Java log Troubleshooting (don’t need code writing skills)
Issues investigation and coordination
Process Skills
- Good knowledge of ITSM Process
- Preferrable good knowledge of SDLC
- First point of support for application incidents
- Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves functional and technical problems
- Ensure quality services are delivered with respect to the agreed service level agreement
- Clearly understand client business to recommend, provides and support application services
- Self motivated
- Good team member
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Establish good relationships with customer
