Team FIORI is looking for senior barista who will report to the restaurant manager in a busy restaurant, work towards operational excellence and be at the helm of recipe development.
FIORI places heavy importance on a dynamic coffee menu. You will be exposed to new ingredients, techniques, recipes frequently, while collaborating with other reputed baristas. This would contribute to grow your learning and professional landscape.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing coffee menus and specials in collaboration with senior management.
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies
- Develop + execute training modules for consistency in espresso-based drinks, milk frothing, and other beverages.
- Develop + execute training modules for machine maintenance.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, with a focus on creating personalized coffee experiences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, particularly regarding cleanliness.
Prerequisites:
- 5-7 years experience in a café/restaurant environment with a similar role
- Knowledge of operating espresso machines, grinders, french presses, aeropress machines, pourovers and more.
- Barista courses are helpful addons.
- A strong passion to make memorable coffee experiences and recipes.
- A growth positive mindset to critically understand operational issues and actively suggest solutions.
- A knack to nurture and grow junior talent.
