Your New Role…
The Senior Financial Analyst – Systems and Licensing Games will be responsible for the budget, forecast, and reporting of Mobile and Digital Games Licensing Revenue. This role will also oversee the enablement, maintenance, and governance of Financial Systems, serving as the Data Steward for WBD Games. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will act as the primary liaison between International and Domestic markets concerning databases and reporting.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Partner with the Business Development Team to budget and forecast Games Licensing Revenue
Update and maintain Licensing Forecast Models and Master Files
Reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year and provide variance analysis to explain performance.
Prepare and submit Licensing Games accruals, supporting Controllership and Audit Teams
Prepare and consolidate Actuals in WBD Games systems (extract, transform and load data)
Initialize and prepare systems per planning cycle (Budget or Forecast)
Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all systems
Update, maintenance and design WBD Games systems governance and system mappings
Manage Ad Hoc analysis and financial data requests as needed, generating insights.
Drive process simplification initiatives. Collaborate across boundaries and share best practices with other FP&A teams.
Qualifications & Experience…
At least 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A or related positions.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Strong proficiency in excel and other data analysis techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.
Experience managing P&L for variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
Basic knowledge in accounting to follow on commercial financial activities and P&L adjustments.
Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings, and present optimal solutions.
Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners.
Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.
Proven ability to work in fast paced environments.
Proactive and data driven.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or engineering with finance background required.
Preferred Qualifications…
Finance IT or Data analytics background
Financial commercial experience desirable
Knowledge of financial software packages SAP & Essbase
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems and Ad Hoc. Review, support and coordinate with IT/Finance Teams to enable solutions (Data Architecture requests e.g. Profit and Cost Center creation or modification) on WBD Games systems (Essbase and SAP). Design and implement data consistency best practices and assure Governance across our systems.
Forecast and Budget. Initialize our planning tool system (Essbase) to accept input from Studios, International and Domestic Teams. Submit FX rates, integrate international data from the HE Database to the Games one, consolidate international SGA forecast. Consolidate and import data from our planning tool to SAP as the single source of truth.
Licensing. Prepare monthly report to the Business Development Team. Update and maintain forecast templates to deliver quarterly forecast and budget. Partner with Controllership to assure data consistency and integrity for Actuals, SOx and other controls.
Actuals. Prepare systems and financial data to populate Essbase from SAP Actuals. Extract, transform and load Total Games P&L To Essbase. Review and reconciliate any differences to assure total data integrity. Support Teams, prepare Ad Hoc analysis as required.
