We have an opportunity for an Sr IT Engineer to join our Honeywell IT team in Bangalore.
Member of a global DevSecOps team responsible for tools infrastructure, deployment and related processes to support mission of Honeywell Software Tools ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain cloud-based systems and applications, implement integrations
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis for errors
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to help ensure end-to-end quality of services
- Lead and participate in the DevSecOps activities related to third-party tools integrated into our toolchain hosted in cloud
- Focus on security tools to become Subject Matter Expert
- Help to create automation, infrastructure solutions & documentation
- Work on daily basis with various stakeholders (internal & external)
- Solve complex problems and provide necessary support to engineering teams (L3)
- Establish and maintain working relationships across disciplines & the organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Mathematics, or similar
- Advanced command of English language
- Experience in setting and maintenance of Cloud applications in Azure or other cloud providers
- Experience in monitoring, automation and other concepts of DevOps methodology
- Good understanding of DevSecOps principles & agile software development
- Experience with: Azure, Terraform, Docker, Python, Ansible, Linux, GIT, TICK stack
- Experience with any of the following: Bitbucket, GitHub, GitHub Actions, JIRA, Clearcase
- Self-motivated and autonomous
- Reliable, trustworthy and demonstrating highest ethical standards
- Team player
- Ability to consistently make decisions even in the face of complexity
- Ability to have customer point of view
- Good communication and presentation skills
