Job Description

The Sr. Producer at Warner Bros. Discovery manages the entire production lifecycle of series for linear channels and streaming platforms. Responsibilities include overseeing script and cut reviews, delivering content (cuts, masters, digital videos, etc.), collaborating with various teams (PMD, Communication, Branding, etc.), evaluating local content, promoting titles, and creating digital content. The role requires close collaboration with production companies and partners, managing projects to stay on budget and schedule, and contributing to promotional materials and awards submissions. Experience in television content production and proficiency in various software (PowerPoint, Excel, Google Suite, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop) are essential.

Your new role

The Sr. Producer collaborates closely with the Producer Supervisor, overseeing the entire production lifecycle of our series for both linear channels and streaming platforms, coordinating deliverables, and addressing various content-related demands.

Your role accountabilities

  • Series Production: Help manage the beginning-to-end production process for both linear channels and streaming platforms, providing vital support to Production Supervisor. This support encompasses script and cut reviews, as well as overseeing the delivery of all content-related items such as cuts, masters, digital videos, calendars, stills, synopses, and various materials to guarantee that projects remain on both budget and schedule and work closely with both Content Delivery and Operation teams to guarantee the appropriate master delivery for Quality Control and dubbing.
  • Collaborative Integration: Serve as support for the other areas, including PMD, Communication, Branding, MKT, On Air, and Branded Content, for the distribution of materials related to local productions. Additionally, take charge of the preparation and execution of presentations for project Kick Offs and internal meetings.
  • Content Evaluation: Contribute with the team in the research and evaluation of local content and the maintenance of relationship with production companies and partners in the region by keeping close contact to local trends and talents.
  • Promotion and Awards Submissions: Collaborate closely with Press/PR to ensure the promotion of titles, Upfront programs, corporate events, and outside events. Facilitate production personnel relations and contribute to the creation of presentation tapes for promotional purposes and awards submissions.
  • Digital Content Creation: Spearhead the development and production of digital content with our digital teams, to complement our series, engaging our online audience through various platforms. Also help to organize big events coverages, such as Comic Con Experience.  
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor´s degree;
  • Advanced English;
  • Demonstrated experience in television content production;
  • Proficiency in Office package (especially PowerPoint and Excel), Google Suite (particularly Google Drive and Slides), Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

Other Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in advanced video editing tools.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in international or multicultural projects.
  • A keen interest or involvement in pop culture trends and references.
  • Strong skills in digital content creation, including proficiency in utilizing social media platforms.
