Georgia-Pacific LLC is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Corrugated Division IT group. The Business Systems Analyst will manage the manufacturing execution system, analyze business IT system needs, identify key requirements, and validate solutions to ensure they meet the needs of our internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be in Cincinnati, OH and will be onsite IT point of contact.

The Business System Support Analyst will take guidance from a team lead but is also expected to be able to work independently by understanding our goals, using judgement, and taking initiative.

What You Will Do

This role is multi-dimensional encompassing functional, technical, and project management responsibilities. You would be responsible for:

  • Understanding business objectives, core system capabilities and business processes to support efforts to design and implement technology solutions and projects that support business goals.
  • Identifying and optimizing business processes and systems
  • Training business partners on use of the core system capabilities
  • Managing documentation (Process and System Design Documents)
  • Partner with cross functional capability teams, 3rd party vendors to capture, understand, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain core system best practices, both for business and IT support processes
  • Onsite IT point of contact
  • Coordinating project activities and communicate status, risks, dependencies, etc.
  • Provide IT support by solutioning and resolving challenges related to technology. Strive to guarantee the optimal functioning of all IT systems and continuously improve performance to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks associated with changes to IT systems.
  • Partner with IT cross functional teams to support IT application infrastructure.
  • Communication with the IT project leader, project managers, and other stakeholders.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a business analyst role interfacing with business functional areas
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting a fully integrated ERP and related systems and integrations
  • Broad knowledge of business end-to-end and supporting processes (Oder to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce)


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Pre-press/printing workflow experience
  • Existing knowledge of the PLEX and/or Hybrid CloudFlow products
  • Experience managing a software vendor.
  • Development skills including SQL queries and PowerBI.
  • Experience with managing Mongo databases
  • Previous experience with custom developed platforms leveraging JavaScript.
