Staff Deep Learning Engineer

Our client is a Silicon Valley-based biotech startup is pioneering AI-driven models to simulate and program biological systems. With global hubs in Europe and the Middle East, the company blends machine learning with molecular biology to accelerate breakthroughs in medicine and life sciences.

They're looking to bring on a Staff Deep Learning Engineer to innovate their teams

Qualifications:

• Degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; life sciences experience is a plus.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Python, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with GPU tools (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN) and deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, HuggingFace).
• Familiar with SLURM, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Skilled in back-end development (Django, Flask, Node.js) and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong background in distributed systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualification's:

• Ph.D. in CS, Engineering, or related field; life sciences experience is a plus.
• Experience with large language/foundation models and deep learning workflows.
• Familiarity with biological data, bioinformatics tools, and ML pipelines.
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, RESTful APIs, and deployment practices.
