Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Responsible for building, maintaining and supporting the Emulation hardware infrastructure of the company
- Define and develop tool flows, debug methodologies facilitating hardware/software co simulation.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and verification engineers to ensure seamless integration of the emulation environment into the overall design and verification flow
- Proactively monitor and resolve issues limiting efficient utilization of the platform through automation and other innovations
- Lead a small team of engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Work with the leading emulation vendors to debug issues, enhance capabilities and additional capacity planning.
- BE/ME/MTech/MS in ECE, EE or computer science with at least 12+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with Zebu, Veloce, Palladium or similar emulation systems.
- Solid understanding of SOC design and verification methodologies, including FPGA prototyping, emulation, and simulation
- Knowledge of AMBA bus protocols (e.g., AXI, AHB, or APB)
- Good understanding of any CPU architecture and experienced in bringing up on Emulation platforms
- Hardware modeling languages, such as Verilog or SystemVerilog, logic simulation tools, python and any functional programming languages like scala, Haskell etc .
- Proficiency in C/C++ DPI Transactors, Accelerated UVM Testbenches, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, and SpeedBridges
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex hardware/software issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
