Stage Ingénieur : Etude de la cohérence de phase et d'amplitude d'un amplificateur de puissance F/M

Context

Some of the latest revisions of the Bluetooth standard implement localization features that make accurate distance estimation possible by measuring the incoming phase of the different channels. For best results, the power amplifier needs to be particularly repeatable in phase & amplitude. A detailed study of the sources of variability within power amplifiers is needed to best optimize our hardware solutions.

You will join an analog team of experienced designers with whom you will regularly share your findings for directions and advise.

Your responsibilities

• Develop a solid background on the topics of wireless PA and RF transmission lines.
• From experimental measurements, propose realistic and accurate models.
• Put in place simulation set-ups.
• Propose dedicated measurements to further refine the models.
• Write hardware design requirements and/or propose software solutions.

Your Profile

• You are in Master/BAC+5 with major in analog IC design.
• You know the Cadence design suite or equivalent.
• You are eager to learn in the domain of RF/analog design in a multi-cultural team.
• You have a good level of English.
